Too young? I don't think she is too young at all to be married. Too young would be 12. I think she is a grown up woman that is ready for marriage if she wishes.

I don't know who Shakira is, but she's right. 32 is too young. I'm not at all enamored of marriage anyway. I don't see why anyone needs to. But why do it when you're 18 and mess up all the rest of your life? Shakira sounds pretty wise to me.

Well... I don't think 32 is too young. If she feels too young though, and feels unready, then she is unready =) In a way, perhaps, her statement just shows the great respect she has for marriage as a lifelong commitment.

I cannot judge on that matter. I do not know her at all. So I do not know where she stands in this world. I do not think it has anything to do with being too young, its a matter of feeling ready to enter another fase of life. It's a decision you do not make over night. I married this year and I am 22. I still do not know what the fuss is about marriage and I still dont understand what exactly changes. It's just making your relationship official at least, that is what it meant for us. Our relationship has been the same since the first day we met.
