  • If XP will work on there, then why not eh? So.. did you have a question?
  • Check the manufacturers website before you do. Not all newer computers have xp drivers written for them. I have had several where there are no drivers for the wireless netrwork or soundcard and that is even by going to the chipset manufacturer as well. Finally keep in mind you are going backwards 2 operating systems in time. It would be the same thing as going from xp to windows 95 YUCK!!
  • XP may not work on your laptop if drivers aren't available. Best to try this on a virgin partition of your disk. But I suggest going forward (to Windows 7) instead. Yes, Vista sucks... but Win 7 does not, and it's moving forward instead of backwards.
  • I recommand to install win 7 which is better than vista and install sun virtual box which can be downloaded freely, just gtoogle it and download.u can install windows xp inside it.the good thing about it is it doesnot change any system configuration and install any software inside.the last thing u have to remmember is after installing xp install in it,install guest addition which can be done by selection device and from it can see 'install guest additions' click it and install. Now u have two operating system without the problem of drivers.
  • I don't blame you at all. Why not go to Linux? It's free and easy.
