I don't remember reading that statistic.

I think in some ways they benefit, but in other ways , they don't. It works out about even. I imagine that if you have lots of kids, though, it puts a strain on resources of the body. I guess it also depends on what sort of children, the kind who end up in prison, insane asylums, rehab etc. might create more stress -- whereas the ideal child who loves, and supports Mom might add yrs. I've never seen any mortality rates based on number of children born.

Yes just look at the nuns, they are not man handled and they live to 100....Just look at the convents.
