Freedom of choice in many ways.

To exercise our freedoms. We fought hard for our rights and ill be damned if im not going to use them. To not exercise these rights we have Bled and died for is a kick in the teeth for each and every person that has saccrificed themselves to be where we are today. And its more than just the war. To have our free market economy, even though its gone to hell for the moment, is a good thing as well, we are not being contolled. We can pick the jobs we want, we can choose where to live and move where we want to. To be Americasn, is to be free, to be free is to be American.

Kindness combined with naivety.

The ones I see are really loud, inappropriately dressed and insanely conspicuous. Having said that, there's a child-like eagerness that can be quite appealing. I think we can learn not to be so stuck-up and serious about everything from Americans.
