  • I prefer dogs, although, they sometimes constantly need your attention as they are the "cling on" pet. Cats are really moody I find. Still they are loads of fun cuz they all seem a little crazy in some way or another. +5pts. =)
  • Dogs... I have had two dogs, three cats... my boyfriend's cats are also like my own - but there is just nothing like the total love and loyalty you get from a dog.
  • Dogs are more interactive with the human. Cats just lay around and you wouldn't know they are there.
  • Doggies!!! They are more loyal then cats where sometimes cats have more then one home or go to a better home. Dogs are kinda like kids as well but 100 times better. I'm just gonna get lots of dogs and not have babies lol +5
  • Dogs, they come when you call with much less effort and/or training. Cats can be trained, but it's a total pain. I've had both, trained both and my experience puts me 100% in the dog camp :-)
  • I just had this discussion with my s/o the other day. We never did come to a conclusion. We decided that cats are better for the more relaxing parts of the day, like early mornings and the evening. My kitty just likes to sit on my lap or by my side during these times, while the puppy is hyper active at all times of the day and I don't have the energy for it when I'm just wanting to relax. My puppy however is better for the afternoon in between these times where I feel more active since my cat doesn't like to go for jogs or play fetch. I think that both are very important in their respective areas.
  • I prefer cats, they're cute and it's good to caress them on the lap. But they won't show much happiness like the dogs do, but they purr... This preference between cats or dogs is very personal.
  • I prefer dogs. Cats are very aloof. They only come to you when they feel like it. But dogs are always happy to see you.
  • Cats. And I say this because they are not as needy. I can leave a couple days knowing that they will be fine. I can be gone all day and not feel guilty about it.
  • Cats work best for me! they are more independent in every way!
  • dogs cuz play are always playful, they are aways happy th see you, and they are very loyal they will even give their lives for you.
  • Dogs.... I don't like cats because of... weird diseases, torn up furniture, ringworms, other gross stuff, & because of the terrible odor that comes from them.
  • Cats because they have no personal odour, they carry less diseases that will affect humans. They are no more likely than dogs to get ringworm. they are more intelligent. far too intelligent to do silly tricks, They take less looking after, They do not leave poop all over the garden but can be trained easily to use tray if indoors. They are far less destructive in the house if given a scratching post and taught to use it. If reared in a loving home from birth, they are affectionate but in a quieter way than dogs.+5
  • Under ordinary circumstances, I would always go with cats. I work full time and I'm only home evenings and weekends and there's no one else there. Cats are fairly low maintenance for that life pattern. You can open a can of food and leave it for them to eat during the day and they don't have to be walked.
  • As much as I love my Queen Huntress, I ultimately have to go with dogs. Because, in times of need and danger, the cat runs away, but the dog stays to fight by your side.
