I think you can fix by using tabbed browsing.
With several browsers, you can right click the question link and open it in a new tab. Then after you answer the question, you can close the tab for the question you answered and go back to your original page.
The only thing is, the pages are constantly updating for new questions being asked, so since the AB site has received new questions, the page number that you're on has been updated. This means that you may have to change the page that you're on.

Why is there a character limit for questions? I find it very frustrating to come up with a proper question with these limits.
