It wasn't Congress. It was just the House of Representaties. It will go to the Senate next. Both houses equal the Congress. This is just one hurdle.

Very worried but not a bit surprised, there is still a chance to stop it. People do still have time to send a clear message to the senators who want to keep their cushy jobs. Election time in 2010 people, you can change thing, contact your reps in your state, tell them if they like their jobs, to stop this bullshit bill before it buries us all. +4

More than worried, I'm resolved that it will be an expensive problem for us all for years to come. The government cannot provide healthcare. The government can only help by protecting the healthcare market and staying out of it. Giving people healthcare will not work, period. It must be earned in a productive society.
