Actually, most do. It just takes a very long time for them to fade. But, big scars or deep scars don't, because it takes longer for them to fade (blend in with the skin through things like skin dying, and growing). Sometimes it takes so long, they never go away. They say every certain amount of years (a decade, maybe longer. I'm really not sure on that), you don't have any of the same skin you had 10 years ago. Skin cells die, fall off, and new ones replace them. The scars are areas of where there is more skin. That's why it takes so long for them to go away.

They just recently started selling creams that can help fade them. Some of them fade on their own, but it usually takes a long time.

There are degrees to burn scars - 1st, 2nd and 3rd. 3rd degree burns are typically deep and serious enough that they will never return to 'normal' skin. I have a whopper that covers part of my chest and upper right arm. It had to be split and operated on a few times as I grew 'cause the darn things don't grow themselves!

I have suffered from acne a year now and have scars on my forehead, some of my scars have faded in that year. But I have not yet conquered the acne so more scars are starting to form over the ones that are trying to fade. I once had a spot that left a huge scar by my nose, i used bio oil on it and it disappeared. I'ts not worked on the others though, maybe because they have been there longer. So I think the sooner treated, the better.

I guess that that's because the wound or acne was very, very deep, so it changed the structure of skin in that particular place. Did you know that in France there is one guy who cuts people (like drawing, it's a kind of tattoo art) so after the cuts are gone there are scars in some shape.
