Life would end!
I should know. I turned off my television in 2003 and I am dead.
I would die without my CNN!

Well for me, nothing as I don't watch television, but I think my husband would be pissed.
well keithold, i reckon i'd be one step closer to having an actual social life.
I'd have to get a table or a cabinet for the one that works. ;)
I might get off the couch
Not much, I don't have that much time to watch it. News or shows. I watch about three hours a week, mostly some shows my wife and I like to watch together. The loss of that would be the biggest impact.
Maybe they would bring back some of the really good radio shows they had back before we had TV like, Fibber McGee and Molly, Inter-Santom, the Shadow, My Friend Irma, Lewigy, Gunsmoke and hundreds more.
These shows painted pictures in your mind as to what was going on. You could imagine what you were hearing. I would lay in bed or on the couch and listen to these shows almost every night. Oh and my sister's favorite was, Hit Parade...she got to hear all the top 10 or 25 or even on Saturday night the top 100 current songs!
I'd do better things than being a couch potato.
We would have room for more furniture...we rarely watch it anyway.
My husband would have to be commited. Poor man.
I really wouldn't notice it.
I need it to play games!
So I don't wanna imagine.
I would be subjected to listening to ranting and raving
I would either get more work done around the place...or spend more time on the net...
