  • With just a couple of clicks, you can remove every search entry that is stored in the Google drop down menu. The action is so simple, it could literally be staring you in the face. It takes less than a minute to wipe the Google search history clean. It's fast, simple and effective.

    Erase the Google Search History

Click on the down arrow to the right of the Google search bar data form. The list of searched items will now be visible. At the bottom of this list click on "Clear History," and any stored entries will be removed.

    Stop Future Search Histories

Go to the Google logo icon at the top of the browser. The icon is on the Google toolbar, to the right of the search bar data form. Right-click on the logo icon, and a drop down menu will display settings and options for the toolbar. Click on the "Search Options" tab, which will be at the top of the drop-down menu. When the Search Options window opens in the middle of the Internet browser, click on the "Search" tab on the left side of the window. Uncheck the box next to the option "Store Search History on My Computer" and click "Save" at the bottom of the window. The Google toolbar now will not save the search history in your browser.
