If you had to teach us here something, what would you teach?

That most of us make the best decisions we can, given the information we have at the time of the decision. Sometimes we screw up, and sometimes we get better information later and wish we'd decided differently. BUT if we honestly decided according to our best lights and later find out we were wrong, we forgive ourselves and don't beat ourselves up. A LOT of people torment themselves in hindsight over decisions that couldn't realistically have been any different.
