Is it a waste of membership money if you just watch the music channel, drink smoothies & chat when visiting the local Health Club?

I'm sure you will get a couple answers to the contrary, but only you can decide that. If you feel like you are getting sufficient enjoyment out of doing the things you mention to make it worth paying the membership fees than no you are not wasting your money.
