Yeah the movie sucked. It was really bad. The only good thing was seeing an Australian actor playing Roran. He used to be on a sit com called Home and Away.

It was the worst movie i've ever seen in a theatre, it put Fox productions to shame. If they'd actually spent time making the movie for fans, they would have had a great showing, but they made it to make money, which screwed up the whole da** thing. Eragon was not ment to last one hundred minutes, it could have been three hours and they still would have had to leave out a few things, but i didn't have even a small thoutght that they would ruin the books reputation this badly.

The book was great and the movie left so much out, the movie was a little bit disappointing.

Arya didn't even have black hair! Saphira didn't suddenly grow ten times in size when she flew. Dragons don't die when their Riders are killed, King Galbatorix's dragon is pure proof of that. Angela shouldn't be played by Joss Stone, they should have had a bit more with Ronan. They didn't have Katrina in there at all... Eragon went with Arya to head for the Elven forest. Eragon didn't have visions of Arya running in the forests, she was locked up... and bleeding in a cell. The Razac didn't look anything like I expected!!!

I'll keep going later! I'm too frustrated right now...

YES. I hate it. It was ridiculous. I was especially pissed about Joss Stone as Angela. That was such a stupid thing to do. She wasn't good, and she wasn't anything like the original character. The only good thing about it was that Murtagh was enjoyable to look at. Other than that, it was atrocious.

Yes! If I were the director then I would at least make the movie into segments so I could have more detail. But, it isn't so. The movie lacked a whole lot of info! If it wasn't for the name on the front of the DVD case I wouldn't even think of Eragon the book being even related to it! ) :

Of Course. The movie had nothing to do with the book. Brom didn't even die the way he did in the book! And The shade didn't even die the way he did in the book! And The Rasacs didn't even die in that book!!! There weren't even dwarves in the movie! The Beor mountains weren't even the dwarf mountains with all the the huge halls, The Star Sapphire, and the dragon room ontop of the mountains where the dragon riders, and there dragon's used to rest. It was just a small whole in the ground!!! Anyway... i doubt that they would make another one unless they just want to make it even worse than the second one. The only thing i would want to see about the second movie is murtagh and his dragon, Thorn.

Yes I was a bit disappointed, but to be fair and realistic, books are always better. Movies can never measure up to books.

You know, it wouldn't have been so bad if they hadn't have changed so much. I expected them to change it a little, but they took out CHARACTERS, and...yes I was VERY disappointed.

I was really upset. This movie disraced the book. Did you know that the people who write the books have no say in what happens in the movie? Yeah, that bites. If I ever wrote a book, i would say hell no you cannot make a cheap ass cop off of my book!! They should of had Liv Tyler play as Arya, and someone more middle aged and funny play as Angela. The guy who played Eragon, where the hell did they get him?? He didnt fit the description at all!! He was kinda friggin blonde!! He was supposed to have BROWN hair not the screwed up blonde do he had goin on.. The movie was HORRIBLE!!!!
