We have a fog machine which is suddenly not working right- there's much less fog than usual, and the motor is barely audible (there's usually a noticeable buzzing noise) even though there's plenty of fog juice. Is there any way to fix it?

Depends on a couple of things: Is it by itself? If so, it could be blocked in some way, or the settings could have accidentally been altered. OR: If it's in a theatre, is it connected to the lighting system (ie, via dmx). If that's the case, make sure the dmx is connected, and that the fog is set to the right amount in the cue, or that on the desk/board, it's up full. Beyond that, i don't know what could be wrong.
