  • There is no limit to the length of a scientific formula. One candidate is the Human Genome ... a forumla for creating Human DNA which is billions of letters long. I remember seeing a mathematical equation with twenty-six letters a through z which generated prime numbers - something I thought was impossible. It took about half a page. Suprisingly, even though there is now a formula for prime numbers, it hasn't help much solving conjectures about prime numbers.
  • The answer is probaly E=Mc2. The reason is that E is a calculation of energy which takes into account all matter. Mass is the accumulated mass of the known universe so you can see that this is a simplified version of a complex formula. Chris
