Reagan by far. However, I saw George speak without a telepromter and from his heart and he was quite good when he is not scripted. I was surprised, but it was a small setting.

You're welcome, and I have to tell you that I say that as a Democrat. My boss and I were attending the speech, and I looked at him afterward and said, "If he ever starts speaking without being scripted, we're screwed."

President Reagan, despite all of my disagreements with him on policy issues, was one of the most skilled public speakers in American political history. It's not fair to compare anyone to him.

Apples and oranges. GW wasn't a speaker. Hell, he was barely a president.

Reagan was an incredible speaker when he ran for President. I voted for him. (don't tell anyone) He did NOT follow through but I think the Alzheimer's was in effect and he had other predators circling the office.

George Bush is an idiot that can't speak at all. Throw a shoe.

Reagan was a trained actor, Bush when he came into office had trouble just putting a sentence together.
