You're reading I am having a very hard time getting the local law enforcement to see that my stepsons aren't being properly cared for in their mother's home. Turns out, there are little to no child protective laws in the county I live in. How can I change this?

Not anymore, the Children's Protective Services budget has been cut back so much that they are letting children die in abusive homes. Most of the actual workers have been let go and only the supervisors are left to spend the taxpayers money.

Typical Bureaucrats. Go after the Christian before you go after the drug dealer, then run away when the money dries up. They would have had plenty of budget if they hadn't wasted it on people who didn't need their 'assistance'.
