  • What do I think about the way Sex Ed is being taught in schools today? Is it different then the way they have taught it in the past? Do they have actual "demonstrations" in the class rooms these days? If you're asking, "What do you think about Sexual Education being taught in schools?", then I would have to say that in a way I agree with it; however, I do think it should up to the parents if they want their children to learn about the subject at school or at home. Sexual Education is good for students. Discussing sex and the dangers of sex in a room of peers could be helpful.
  • Judging solely by the amount of questions on AB about sex and pregnancy - I'd say that there is not nearly enough education going on in schools. People need to be taught about the human reproductive system. It isn't a big mystery how pregnancy occurs - yet there seem to be so many people with no knowledge of how pregnancy happens! Kids need to be taught the biological functions of the human reproductive system. How both male and female systems works, about organs, and functions, such as ovulation, menstruation, erection or ejaculation. They also need to know about diseases. They should know how they are transmitted, and how to prevent them. Abstinence, yes, but also birth control & safe sex methods. Simply not teaching kids about safe sex techniques isn't going to stop them from having sex. That's why abstinence only education is a huge joke. People need to be informed of all information and options, so they can go into the world and make their own educated decisions. (And so they can avoid being the millionth person to come to AB and ask "Could I be pregnant if...?")
  • what i think is theres no ****ing point to it its not going to stop anyone from wanting to have sex. at first they probally do oral than anal than probally sex
  • OK Jenniferocious is right and people should be taught about human reproductive systems but still it makes me fell uncomfortable! We had a workshop in our school and they did like a little play (don't worry it didn't actually involve actual demonstrations!! Well they did show how to put on a condom but they demonstrated it on the guy's finger instead!!) Anyway in the play the main woman's character name was the same as mine and it was really funny and awkward especially cos' of some of the stuff they said!!! :)
  • well they need to find better teachers who arent so awkward when it to sex. i remember one of my teachers last year didnt teach us a lot because he didnt feel comfortabble to discuss sex to a bunch of hormonal teenagers. i think that if they taught us everything we need to know, then there wouldnt be as many of us having sex. the reason why most teens have sex in the first place is because we're curious. BETTER TEACHERS TO DO THE JOB.
