The question is, why should Iran attempt diplomacy with us? For the past 100 years other countries have come in claiming to want to help, and then royally screwed them over, America being one of the chief culprits. No wonder they're government is xenophobic.

No, we have to show reasonableness after our past record in dealing with them. +5

The persians love americans and all things american. We should not give up on them. . The mulluhs and all things muslom is the problem that needs to be dealt with severely.
