You can't dye brown hair blonde. You have to bleach it out first and then put color on it. Why don't you please have a professional do it for you? There is a reason people go to school for this.

I would have to agree with Wind in the Willows, however I understand not wanting to spend the money. So if you aren't going to seek professional help in terms of paying some body to do it for you, then you should ask a professional for a good (cheap) suggestion.
