  • Find a better class of people from which to draw boyfriends??
  • go to the bank and have everything changed back. the bank would say your password was conficated by your boyfriend.
  • Get him some Vasaline for his trip to jail. He is going to be there a looooonnng time!
  • Uhhh call the cops. Thats the only thing I can think of other than vigilantism.
  • I don't think there is anything 'legally' that can be done as it would be his word against yours. I would go to the bank and change my password, along with address and email addy. Then I'd change boyfriends! Why on earth would he do that other than for 'control'?
  • Wow - hope he is now an ex-boyfriend. It is good you are looking at legal options rather than letting this go. I would contact your bank ASAP if you have not already done so and advise them of what happened. They should have a 24 hour emergency line. You will need to change your banking info or perhaps open a new account. They should be able to tell you what your legal options are. You should also report what has happened to the police. It is definately illegal to hack into someone's personal banking information as well as to impersonate that person to change their information. Do you know what his motivation was? It would also be a good idea to check into anything else he may have accessed and altered such as credit cards. Best of luck.
  • Go to the bank, or call--most banks do have 24 hour hotlines for this type of stuff. The bank account is tied to your social, and as long as you have proper ID, he shouldn't be able to take it away from you. Depending on how much of your information he changed and what he intended to do, he can be prosecuted for a number of things. At the very least, he hacked into your account. They could probably throw in some type of identity theft charge in as well. Banks take this seriously and so do the cops. You first want to resecure your account, that should be your first priority. But do contact the authorities. Both you and the bank can press charges. I'm assuming he's now an ex. If he exhibits other behavior like this or escalates, get a restraining order.
  • Awwwwwwwwwww. Legally? Never mind. Does he hate you?
  • Call the police and make a report. This is identity theft and criminal impersonation.
