  • CVV and CID are codes used to further verify the authenticity of your credit/debit card. CVV stands for Card Verification Value and is used by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and Diners Club. This three-digit security code is printed on your card. For all but Diners Club, the CVV will appear at the top of the signature strip on the back of your card. Diners Club cards display the CVV on the front of the card. An American Express card will display a CID, or Card Identification Number. You'll find this four-digit code on the front of your card. http://supportcingular.atgnow.com/cng/documentDisplay.do?page=http%3A%2F%2Fsupportcingular.atgnow.com%2Fcng%2Ftutorials%2FKB63363.html&result=9&responseid=315de6515eaed239%3A35998f%3A1118f4e94a0%3A6ee3&groupid=1&contextid=17223%3A0.0&clusterName=CingularCluster&doctype=1000&excerpt=What+is+CVV%3F+What+is+CID%3F+QUESTION%3A+What+is+CVV%3F+What+is+CID%3F+ANSWER%3A+CVV+and+CID+are+codes+used+to+further+verify+the+authenticity+of+your+credit%2Fdebit+card.+CVV+stands+for+Card+Verification+Value+and+is+used+by+Visa%2C+MasterCard%2C+Discover%2C+and+Diners+Club#http%253A%252F%252Fsupportcingular.atgnow.com%252Fcng%252Ftutorials%252FKB63363.html
