Sure, you know, you write "Texas" on a piece of paper, then draw arrows and such and scratch out letters and get the word "taxes" and then just start being silly and write things like "Staxe." If you really want to know about being in the state, I've been there quite a few times (I live about 1 - 1 1/2 hours away from Orange, TX), and I've had fun in Texas, but I don't know that it's "messing with" Texas. However, a bunch of youth from the ELCA over ran San Antonio this past summer and I was one of the adults that volunteered and supported it!

No, cause I don't want "The eyes of Texas to be upon me"!

I will admit that I have told some Texas jokes in the past. Texas is my neighbor and it was all in good fun. I meant no harm and I am sure that it did not take offense, at least I hope not. The jokes were funny, though, and you could easily put in any state into the punch line if you so desired. <she says as she smiles and gives a little wink>

Would never do that.

Someone told me not to. I heed orders from the highest command America has. ;-)
