I have a 2001 monte carlo, hot coolant temp warning comes on, the car overheats, but the bottom radiator hose is cold and the upper hose is hot. Anyone know whats wrong

Sounds like the radiator may be plugged. If you disconnect hoses (with the engine off) will water run from the upper inlet to the lower outlet?
