  • Tell me what a COAT is. I bet you don't even know.
  • Eh, hardly. There's nerdier people. :D
  • COATS are great AB'ers who help other users who are being bothered by "trolls", among other things. They're valuable members of the AB community.
  • The COATS in this community work extremely hard to make life on AB what it SHOULD be. As a matter of fact, any number of them could hate your guts (not typical of a COAT, but you get the point), and they would STILL help you, simply because it is the right thing to do. If you get trolled, they will help you. If you get ganged up on, they will help you. If you need anything, they will help you. They won't uprate an answer to help you get the number one spot on a question, or downrate anyone in order to protect you. And, they work to stop fights. Basically, those goody-two-shoes really suck. And we are damn lucky to have them. +5
  • Eh not goody two shoes... we just replace points and offer support when needed. I am NO way a goody two shoes. I smart off and call it as I see it. My sarcasm bone itches regularly and has to be scratched. The thing that I remember since I officially became a COAT is HOW to express my displeasure. I feel free to express myself as I wish to, however, I take care in how I do so. I see myself as just plain your average bagger but, since I "donned" my COAT, I will walk away or even go on hiatus to keep from being overly harsh. A lot of us hold controversial viewpoints... in no way is that a no no. It is all in how you express yourself.
