Throat lozenges are helpful (Cepacol and Chloraseptic are the best). You can also drink lemon tea with honey. I favor Celestial Seasoning's Lemon Zinger when I have a sore throat. In the meantime, rest your voice and it will recover faster. When you can't speak, pen and paper are your friends.

Lemon juice helps singers retain vocal strength. Lozenges might do the trick. As would miming for a while or sign language. :)
