Ive been high on the North Ridge of Aconcagua in Argentina just below Independencia at 6300 metres / 21,000 feet. Been to Sumna Glacier above Gokyo Seventh lake, Nepal, and got to where it buts against the face of Cho Oyu approx 6250 metres / 20,900 feet.

i don't know how high an air plain goes, but that was probably the highest i have ever been.

Paiute Pass was 11, 265 feet. Then we hiked up to Desolation Lake near 12,000. Hiled up a mountain near there called My Humphreys and gave up at about 12,800 becasue I just couldn't breathe very well and started to get a headache. It usually takes me quite awhile to aclimate to altitude. I'm a woosey that way.

I've climbed most of Colorado Fourteeners, but the absolute highest peak I’ve been (or Skied down from) is Mont Blanc, 4,810.2 m (15,771 ft), on the French-Italian border.

I have been skiing in the Alps on many occasions but do not know the height of the Mountains. I climbed the last part of Mount Tiede in Tenerife. I know that is somewhere over 12,000 ft but I am not sure how many.

Pikes Peak Colorado. 2 Summers ago. It was the most beautiful, also. 14,000 feet above sea level. Almost everyone has said that :)

I really don't know, do to all the traveling I do at times. Just never keep track of it. I do know of a area near this farm that is at 1200+' above sea level. The spot I am on here is only 989' above sea level. It may not be as high as some places. But I never have to worry about being flooded in. .....Plus 5 for your question. Pikes Peak, 14,400 ft in the doughnut/coffee shop on top. Got altitude sickness there and have hated doughnuts ever since...the smell just killed me! Barfed all over the rocks up there, *never* forget that agony! Talk about a headache!! Awesome views though, in fact *Spectacular* views, do it again in a heartbeat, next time I'll just stay out of the doughnut shop!
