Why does the FBI count cocaine in kilograms, but methamphetamine, marijuana and heroin in pounds?

Hmm don't know, iwnit. I think marijuana is weighed and counted in ounces, unless it is a really big haul. Anyway, we are still mostly on the old English weight and measuremet system in the US, even in construction. Lumber is sold in board feet and concrete is layed in tons. Medicine uses the metric system, though, and prescriptions are dispensed in grams. Strange, but the building trades are holding tenaciously to the old English system. I don't know why. Even England has gone completely metric now. We probably know the old English system better than they do...(lol!)
