What is your preferred method of listening to music? mp3 player, computer, cd's or radio? i'm curious because i'm wondering how often people buy cds? and is that becoming a thing of the past?

I got an Ipod last year so I could listen to my tunes and my s/o could watch tv and play video games without disturbing him. Honestly, I kept those bugs in my ears all the time until I realized I would rather share music than have it blasting in my ears alone. I'm buying a new stereo system next month, budget permitting, and he will like it or lump it.

You did not mention the ipod, so is that becoming passe? I listen to CDs mostly in my car and at home. I seriously hope they do not become a thing of the past, but time marches on!!

Usually MP3 but i love buying cd's. i have like 70 of them.

I use an mp3 player. I'm tired of being ripped of, and paying $30-35 for 10 songs (a pittance of which goes to the artist). No more CD's for me.

I buy CD's and listen to an actual stereo. All the new technology impresses me not at all -- I am fine with paying for a CD. And I never liked earphones. :) And I 'ditto' the spirit of justchattin's answer. :) +5
