I would definitely do that job if the salary was good enough - it would be a sinecure because we don't have capital punishment.

yes so long as I had the right to refuse to execute someone I believed innocent. I would be honored to be assigned to execute the many of the economic slavers who have destroyed america. (AKA parasitic executives, aristocrats.)

I worked as a law clerk on death penalty cases. Even though it just involved reading about murders that happened almost 30 years ago, it gave me nightmares where I was given the death penalty. (And no, I have not killed anyone in real life so it is not a guilty conscience, unless you count my involvement in the legal system). So, if being an anonymous bureaucrat in the machinery of death is that bad, I don't think I would want to be the man at the very end of the gruesome process.

Only on bad days. I do not think I am truly barbaric enough to take a Human life. Unless someone Else's was endangered. However I do believe in an eye for an eye.

Thanks. Everyone gets a +5 because there is no right or wrong answer to this post. ME! I couldn't do it myself. But life imprisonment should mean life. And all prisoners should Work for their keep. I.e. food. TV. Gym. Telephone etc. Won't work = no privileges and just basis food. 50% of their paid work would go to their victims relatives. If relatives didn’t want it they could nominate a charity where it should go. That way everybody benefits and the prisoners contribute to society whether they like it or not.

yes,luckily it would get easier as we went along,i would be pretty busy here in south africa maybe get the state to pay per execution,if only we had the death sentence.

No I could not. I would find that job too traumatic. And plus, I don't think it would earn me a good reputation with a lot of people. And I like being liked by just about everyone. +5
