They already have it on home runs. For a more comprehensive instant replay, as in replaying controversial outs and so forth, yes I think they need that.

They used it last night when A-Rod hit a ball that hit a cameraman's camera over the right field wall. The umpire did not call it a home run, but after reviewing, it was clearly over the wall and declared a home run..10/31/09.

THIS post season is a good argument for it. I hear the umps get pissed when the vids show a bad call.

I saw it being used on Saturday night in the televised World Series.
