  • I would. Good service is worth the tip, regardless of who is giving it. Anway, if a manager is serving, usually it is some kind of contest.
  • I was never really properly educated on how to tip people, so I'm not even sure what most people expect out of that. I don't really tip AT ALL because of this. I also usually have a very limited amount of cash on me, so I can't always tip, even if I want to.
  • Probably, even though tipping the proprietor is NOT required.
  • I usually will leave a tip for the kitchen staff as most managers are salaried and in my experience aren't allowed to accept tips.
  • Anyone at a restaurant serving me who is gracious and pleasant will always be tipped fairly no matter what their position is there.
