Additional information: I am 27 and know it'll be a long time before I retire so I'm not afraid to have an aggressive portfolio. My only concern is whether it is normal to have equal distribution like this, because I'm curious how much thought was put into the distribution amounts.

You're reading I'm going to open an IRA, and the advisor advised 4 different mutual funds, large blend, large growth, world stock, and small growth, each at 25% of my investment. I like the diversification, but does equal 25% distribution sound right?
