Your browser is set to open a new window whenever you click on a link. To change this so it opens in a new tab on the current window go to the Tools menu and select Options. Click the tab labelled "Tabs" and elect to open a new tab. Have a look at the other options while you're there.

I know, it is because the website opens too many links for its own good. When i click to your profile, a new window. You end up with a window left open from a couple of hours ago with your points really low relative to what they are now.
