Is life too serious? Why do people lose the playful spirit as they get older? Are you still a kid inside?

Life is too serious. We lose the playful spirit because the older we get the more stress there is in our lives. Working long hours to pay rent and feed the family, worrying if your teenage kids who are out on a Saturday night are alright. Are next months bills covered?etc.. Occasionally the kid in me still comes out yes.

I seem to be in perpetual college mode. I feel about 20 inside (even though I'm 43). I wonder if I'll still feel this way when I'm 80.

Life is serious and people get dragged into it and get into a rut. I am the biggest kid you will ever meet.

As we get more older, we tend to matrue and become more realistic around us. And yet it probably might get harder to find an old person who is still a kid inside.
