No, you're assuming that brain damage is the only reason to avoid drugs. I can't stand any kind of hangover, and most drugs including alcohol can cause that. If there was a hangover-free, no-low-after-the-high drug, then I'd consider it. But that seems to be against the nature of drugs.

No, because drugs take you out of reality. Living outside of reality is just like lying to yourself. . It is one of my goals in life to stay as much as I can in reality because trying to live your life in a world that doesn't exist will lead to problems.

I have no motivation to take drugs of any kind. I barely ever drink alcohol. I have people whom I love very much that depend on me to be clear-headed, often at a moment's notice. I prefer that world over anything else :) +5

I wouldn't take drugs simply because it's illegal and I see no reason to alter my brain or thinking, or behavior in that way.
