It is sad that such a powerful educational tool is wasted. There are a few good information channels but even they are packed with all too frequent advertisements. TV is somewhat useful in distributing news but even that can't be trusted for accuracy.

The only purpose is to sell advertisements. That is it in a nutshell. The programs themselves are dirt cheap to produce and morons love this crap. What is wrong with you people??? "American Idol" "You Think You Can Dance" "Biggest Loser" "Get me off this island I'm a freaking celebrity" KILL THEM ALLLLLL!!!
