Make sure I have the setting for defrost on my car set at night. Then in the morning, use the remote start and everything's clear when I go out in the morning. We have a 2 car garage, but my husband is a mechanic . . . . you could only imagine what we got out there (its almost scary, I won't go in there myself!)

We have an indigenous method. Rub chewing tobacco on the windshield and no moisture or water will stick to it while driving in foggy or rainy conditions. As the winters are not too sever here this method works well enough for our purpose. Most people keep a pouch of chewing tobacco in their glove compartments for this purpose.

Open the windows when you're making out in the car.

Heat and defrost are all I do! There is a treated cloth available for sale that is supposed to keep the fog from forming. I never tried it, so I don't know if it's any good.
