The New York Times and the Los Angeles Times are both widely considered to be liberal, particularly in the op/ed sections. . The Wall Street Journal tends to be quite conservative but it is important to note that it is the fiscal conservatism , not the social.

New York Times is liberal. The Washington Post is moderate. The Wall Street Journal is either/or. My hometown paper is moderate. They are all close to irrelevant.

I don't think any of the major ones could be called liberal or conservative. They are corporate and print news that serves corporation plus sports and fluff pieces. There are no truly independent large newspapers.

There are thousands of publications out there. I know that the Arizona Republic says it all. They spew Republican slanted garbage all the time. Sad. Chicago Times and Tribune had the Demo and Republic views in that order. I don't think we have the Times any longer there which is odd because Chicago is very democratic.

Based on your descriptors I'd say just about all of them. If you are looking for papers that are unbiased, factual and accurate, the list would be much shorter.
