  • It depends on what it is; but usually it has to coordinate with other things, be a good price that I can afford and I have to need it as opposed to wanting it.

  • First I ask myself if I have enough money. Then I ask whether it's a need or a want. If it's a need, then I will most likely get it. If it is just a want, then it's a fifty-fifty chance whether I get it or not. I may be saving up for something too, or cutting back, and that may figure into it.
