What do you tell children about death in general? esp the death of a loved one?

G'day Singwell, Thank you for your question. I believe that being honest but tactful is the right approach. I also support kids going to the funeral. I was eight when my mother died and my brothers and I didn't go. I always wish we had had the chance to say goodbye. I don't think my Dad could have faced use going as he was absolutely distraught and things were different then. Regards
