Daniel Craig already is a Bond, but I think the role should've gone to the gorgeous Clive Owen.

Clive Owen should have been James Bond....But in all fairness Daniel Crag is a fine actor as well. Watch Clive Owen act in "Children of Men", and see him have fun in "Shoot 'em up". Great flicks!

I think both would make the role their own (and both are undeniably gorgeous). However, Daniel Craig is a fantastic actor - see 'Our Friends in the North'. He is very believable as Bond - and although many people don't think he is suave or debonair enough, he is tough and capable of the job, with a vulnerable streak, which is what makes him so good. I think Bond would really need to be very tough, ex-special forces - someone who has seen a lot of military action - as well as confident and charming where needed. Daniel Craig fits the bill very well, and I think he is an excellent Bond.
