Help answer this question below.
File petition for modification. There must be a hardship cause such as lower wages. The laws are different in the states. In some states if you modify you will be required to pay longer.
We are Americans living in Malaysia but got married in Nevada. Our last residence before coming overseas was Houston, TX. My husband wants a divorce he's having an affair. Should we file in MY or USA? Must he pay me alimony, I haven't worked in 8 yrs.

Divorcing husband, prior to him leaving residence we signed a settlement agreement (I drafted) witnessned by a notary which states neither party shall receive spousal support. He now wants support. Claims doc is fraudulent. Can he be awarded support?

Is it possible to specify an annual cost-of-living increase to alimony, expressed as a percentage of total alimony, in a support order? How?
