I was not a teenager in the 80's, just slightly younger, but I remember the fashion was - Pixie Boots, Jelly Shoes, Pepe Trainers and Clark's Magic Shoes (the one's with the picture on the sole)

I wasn't a teen in the 80's I was in my 30's but I dressed young because I was young and looked very young. So anyway, I wore all kinds of shoes. I loved spikes, boots, and weird shoes. Weird shoes were very in back then. I also loved the flats in bright colors. Lots of sandals with foot jewelry and nail polish too.

I think for young guys, athletic shoes have been popular for a long time, from the basketball shoes in the `50's to the Vans of the `80's to the air/gel super jock shoes of today.
