No, why would it? It simply describes a people who settled in Iran and northern India and the language that they used.

I think it has, sadly, taken on a bad meaning since WW2, when it was misused to describe a non-existent master race. However, used in its proper sense, ie the name for the original North Indians who spoke Sanskrit (closely related to the Irani of Persia), then it is ok.
