Foremost, be careful about using the phrase "a Gay" as opposed to "a gay man, a homosexual man, etc." as some find it offensive. And to answer your question, I'd probably be flattered, but I'd politely let them know I'm not interested.

"A gay?" That's like saying "a black." You just don't do it. It's pretty offensive. To answer your question, no, I don't, because I am "a gay."

Happened once, my gaydar apparently was on the fritz that day. I think I was more or less flattered and he was embarrassed and apologized.

i think my attitude would be to say to that person i am not that way inclined please respect that please .i have friends who are homosexual ,and i feel as long as we all keep it in house and respect what he or she may be that is fine by me.

I'm a straight male and I would find it flattering. Really, for me it would depend on how attractive they were. If they were a flaming very out going gay, this might offend me. There are all types, just like all types of staright people. No one is ever flattered by over bearing, pushy, extreme one sided personality.
