I need to make a .txt file 29 kb smaller. It is 529kb i need it to be 500kb. How can I make this file smaller without having to delete text. I don't want to delete text because it is a book and i don't want to cut parts out. Any help is greatly appreacia

What are you trying to accomplish? Data compression would take it down to probably 50kb, if you can tolerate storing it in compressed form. But without knowing what problem you're trying to solve it's hard to advise.

5ookb text file book? what have you got? one of the classics? uou may have better joy converting it to a compressed PDF but really a text file is as low as it can go. If your thinking about the google docs 500kb upload limit then you may find that you can just copy paste the text into two 250kb odd text files and upload them separately, if you need to use text "live." If your just going to email or upload then compress it using winzip or such and your done.
