Most people only hear God in the reading of His word or in a preachers message. The Bible says that at no time has anyone heard THE voice of God. Still, if a believer has sufficeint faith to believe it's possible there is A voice from God that can be heard audibly. I have heard such a voice on a few occasions. The first time was shortly after getting born again. I was driving in my car and asked God why He didn't save me at a younger age as I'd been seeking him from my youth. I then heard the response " A person must first fail in his own sights before he can get redeamed."

I thought I was fat when I was little but as I grew up I realised it was my father standing behind me in the mirror, shouting usually. These are private things and unless your making claims to prophethood kept private and meditated on. Rememeber if it says kill then don't, if it says do nice things then do.
