In this specific case, no. This has absolutely no possible difference from two meteoroids striking the moon (which are typically much much larger and move much much faster than the probes do), and the Moon is a place where pretty much nothing notable by anyone's standards has happened in the last billion years, save for the moon landings in the last fifty years. To begin getting close to "interfering" with the nature of the cosmos", you'd have to do something on par with exploding the black hole at the center of the galaxy.

I was thinking along that line. How successful were they by doing this?
-
No. None at all. 5000 mph is relatively slow as cosmic speeds go.

Spitting in the ocean....
-
nope, which is lucky, cos americans are dumb enough to pull shit like that haha

I get a newsletter from the cosmos. It's never hear of the moon and I have to pay a lot extra to the deliver to the Earth.

It seems that it would continue to upset the economy we are already trying to deal with. +5

If you look at pictures of the moon, you will see that it is covered with craters. Where do you think they have come from?
-
Yes. But considering the immensity of the Cosmos, it probably went unnoticed.
-
Only if you consider humans, and human activity as something outside of the natural order of the cosmos. Personally, I don't think you can "endanger" the cosmos without first attributing some sort of cosmic "will" or "intent" that could be thwarted by humans. If none exists, then what is there to endanger? +5

of course, everything we do changes something, it is how responsible we are for when we do it why we do it and what are the outcomes for doing it...thats what matters. +3

Everything we do amounts to an interference in the nature of the cosmos. We dig up, fill in, burn, eat, excrete and so on. Compared to the wholesale changes we have made to the earth's surface, this pinprick on the Moon is too small to notice, by many orders of magnitude.

NASA is playing with fire. How can they specifically know what the long term effects it can have on the moon.If the moon moves even a few degrees out of orbit we are goners. They will be pushing the envelope until they step over the line, when it comes to interfering with mother nature.
