No, as a Scandinavian citizen they awarded Obama because he chose more peaceful solutions. But in Afghanistan it can be very hard just to chose diplomatic solutions alone, when they have to both alquida and taleban.

His nomination came on his 12th day as president. The committee's only interest, just as when they gave it to Al Gore, was to discredit GWB. The norweigians did not mind strong USA leadership when they were desperate to drop the yoke of nazi occupation, but they have since been so hypocritically unnacepting of it.

I do not know but hope that it is the intention.He promised this during his campaign and should be obligated to do so.Otherwise his campaign promises were a delusion.Peace,to me,means the opposite of war.
